James W. Neubert, age 90, of Faribault, died on Monday, February 6, 2012 at the Three Links Care Center, Northfield.

Funeral services will be held at St. Luke's Church, Faribault, on Saturday, February 11, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. with the Reverend Aaron Brockmeier officiating. Interment will be at Meadow Ridge Memorial Park, Faribault.

Visitation will be held at the Boldt Funeral Home, Faribault, on Friday, February 10, 2012 from 4 to 7 p.m. and also at the church for one hour prior to the services on Saturday.

James W., the son of Emil and Olive (Workman) Neubert, was born on August 19, 1921 in Faribault. He graduated from Faribault High School in 1939 and married Ruth Bauer on June 7, 1945 at St. John's United Church of Christ, Wheeling Township, Rice County. Ruth preceded him in death on June 20, 2000. Jim was a farmer in the Walcott Township area. His favorite things in life were family, farming, fishing and friends.

He is survived by two daughters, Claudette Bagan of Waseca and Cynthia (and David) Paeper of Excelsior; one son in law, Bruce Degen of Champlin; six grandchildren; three great grandchildren; and other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Ruth; a daughter, Charlotte Degen; a son in law, Thomas Bagan, and one sister, Helen Neubert.
