SANDRA J. HANSON

Sandra J. (Mrs. Gerald) Hanson, age 67, of Rosemount died on Saturday, February 4, 2012 at her home.

Memorial services will be held on Wednesday, February 8, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at the Boldt Funeral Home, Faribault. Interment will be at the Moland Cemetery, rural Kenyon.

A memorial visitation will be held at the Boldt Funeral Home, Faribault on Tuesday, February 7, 2012 from 5 to 7 p.m. and also for one hour prior to the service on Wednesday.

Sandra Jean, the daughter of Marvin and Mildred (Young) Flom was born on May 10, 1944 in Faribault. She graduated from Faribault High School in 1962. Sandra married Gerald Hanson on June 1, 1963 in Faribault. She was employed at the U. S. Post Office for 28 years. Sandy enjoyed going to casinos. She loved sports, playing cards, and puzzles.

She is survived by her husband Gerald; four children, Scott (and Hla) Hanson of Rosemount, Cheryl (and Al) King of Farmington, Valerie Howe of Blair, WI, and Amy (and Dan) Roberts of Rosemount; nine grandchildren; four siblings, Sharon Dixon of Faribault, Dennis (and Kristen) Flom of Albert Lea, James (and Cheryl) Flom of Owatonna, Judy (and Brian) Wilson of Faribault; nieces; nephews; and other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother Roger Flom.

Sandy Hanson family, You don't know me but I remember Sandy from the beauty shop that we both went to for years and years. She was a very nice lady and we joked about her retireing and when I was finally going to. Sorry that we all lost her and may our memories of Sandy stay strong! Mary
