Services Including Cremation

Cremation is just one form of preparing the body for final disposition. Cremation does not necessarily take the place of customary funeral services. The same services are available for families that select cremation. Viewing or visitation may be held with the casket open or closed. Services may be conducted at the church with or without the body present. Memorial visitation/services are also available in the funeral home or church of the families choice.
The families that choose cremation have many choices for the final resting place. Interment may take place in the earth or in a columbarium. Scattering of the cremains may be completed on private property. Some families select multiple urns to meet different needs of individual family members.
The Boldt Funeral Home offers a crematory directly on the premises and we are specially trained in completing the cremation process. As with families that select traditional services, our staff arranges and conducts the removal of the deceased from the place of death, completing the embalming if requested, and provide other care. Our funeral directors arrange for completion of the death certificate & the obituary. We contact the families choice of clergy and church, musicians, florist, lunch serving committee and arrange for the lunch items. We notify social security, the veteran's organizations, and fraternal and service groups. We coordinate the families selection of clothing, jewelry and photos used for the services. Our funeral home offers caskets and urns that vary in style, materials and cost.

Services that include cremation may vary in cost due to  individual selections of  professional services, casket or container, urn, urn vault and miscellaneous cash advance items.

(Price lists are available at the funeral home.)
