Memories

Mr. Anhorn was my fifth grade teacher at Washington School. My favorite memory of my year in his class was that he read to us for 1/2 hour after lunch every day...wonderful, kid-friendly books. One of the best ones was "David and the Phoenix." I remembered it as a truly magical story, and was able to find and purchase it recently. Thank you, Mr. Anhorn, for contributing to my lifelong love of good books!

Memories

I will remember Bob as a caring, kind but strong individual when it came to being principal @ Garfield. I was PTO president at the time and he stepped in as principal during the last days of Garfield Elementary. He was softspoken and tender but knew when and how to be firm when necessary. Faribault has indeed lost a key individual in promoting community and good all around citizenship.
