Mark R. Helms, age 47, of Faribault, died on Monday, December 7, 2009 at his home.

         Memorial services will be held in the Boldt Funeral Home, Faribault on Monday, December 14, 2009 at 1:30 p.m.

         Memorial visitation will be for half hour prior to the service on Monday.

         Mark Richard, the son of Lamar and Patricia (Joyce) Helms was born June 15, 1962 in Orlando, FL.  Mark was a painter prior to moving to Faribault.

         He is survived by his son, Richard (and Stephanie) Helms of Bowling Green, KY; one grandson, Drake Richard Helm; his father, Lamar Helms of Geneva, FL; his fiancée, Lynn McGovern of Faribault and her family; two siblings, Keith (and Vonda) Helms of Geneva, FL and Lori (and John) Jones of Sparta, TN; nieces; nephews; and other relatives and friends.

         He was preceded in death by his mother, Patricia.
