     Patricia J. (Mrs. Georg) Bruns, age 70, of Faribault and formerly of Ostrander, died on Friday, November 13, 2009, at her home.
     Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, November 18, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. in the St. Luke’s Church, Faribault with the Reverend Aaron Brockmeier, officiating. Interment will be in the Bloomfield Cemetery, rural Ostrander.
     Visitation will held in the Boldt Funeral Home, Faribault on Tuesday, November 17, 2009 from 4 to 7 p.m. and also in the church for one hour prior to the services on Wednesday.
     Patricia J., the daughter of Kennard and Bernice (Kirkland) Frost was born on February 19, 1939 in Rochester. She married Georg Bruns on June 14, 1964 in Rochester. She was formerly employed as a program administrator by the federal government in the farm service agency, Rochester office for 20 years. She enjoyed French Lake, singing in the church choir, painting and sewing.
     She is survived by her husband Georg; two children, Susan Maiers of Buffalo Lake and Paul (and Darcy) Bruns of Canby; four grandchildren, Katherine and Jacqueline Maiers and Dylan and Aidyn Bruns; two sisters, Linda Frost of Rochester and Shelley (and Tony) Fieck of Mira Loma, CA; and other relatives and friends.
     She was preceded in death by her son, Derek in 1974; her parents; and one brother, Raymond Frost.

Dear Georg and Family: Please accept our very sincere sympathy on the death of Pat. She was such a good person, and I know she will be greatly missed by all of you. Paul and I have good memories of playing cards with Georg and Pat in the 500 club that we both belonged too. That is where we really got to know them. I had the good fortune to work with Patsy years ago at the Rochester FSA Office. It was by a mere accident that I read of her passing. As Dawn said in an earlier memorie, she was a compassionate and caring person and she will be missed by all that knew her. My sincere condolences to her family.

(Patsy would appreciate that I "goofed" by hitting the wrong button as I didn't get to finish my previous comments before the comments were submitted!) We have many good, fun memories or her at the Olmsted County FSA Office. She was also a friend to me and I will miss her. I'm glad that she and Georg were able to get the "home by the lake" like she talked about for many years. She was so proud of her children and dearly loved her grandchildren. She talked often of them. My sincere sympathy goes out to the entire family at this time.
