I was just looking for Harold Boldt's funeral arrangements and saw that "Auntie Helen" had passed away. I got to know Helen when my daughter Teresa was in girl's scout and Helen would have the girls to her house each year and teach them a craft/flower arrangement something. She was always so wonderful to all. I helped Helen a year or so ago get from her car to DOH and said told me I was the angel that she had been praying for. I am not an angel she was she brightened my day that day. God's Blessings, Sincerely, Pam Heiden

I loved Mrs. Wallace!! I was reading another obituary and found hers and felt so bad that I didn't know until now. I had her for 5th grade at Lincoln school in 1965-1966. She taught me so much, including the facts of life!! (she was the lucky teacher who had to teach all the girls about the woman deal...) She was so kind and maternal. Yet she took her teaching very seriously and did such a great job. I remember all the work we did to make the classroom look like Indians and Pilgrims were actually going to school at Lincoln, using life sized dummies that we made. I remember one time in gym class that she told us that we should keep doing situps or we would have to wear a girdle like she had to wear. I got to see her after Mr. Wallace died and I got to see her after she married Mr. Sellner and teased her that she should get me some free passes to ride the Tilt-A-Whirl. I am sorry for your loss but I want you to know I will NEVER forget her or how she always made me feel. She had a great smile and a good sense of humor. May God bless you.

I was in Ms. Sellner's 5th grade readling class at Lincoln school in the mid 70's. She had a large poster on her classroom door that said...."Welcome to my world, won't you come on in...Miracles I know, happen now and then......The possibilities expressed in those few stanzas has stuck with me all of these years. Ms. Sellner taught possibilities disguised as reading.

I remember Auntie Helen's teaching me to be proud of myself; telling me, that with a little help (coaching), that I could sing better. She always showed me that she cared, even when I didn't agree with her thoughts. She taught me to like Strawberries, again. Auntie Helen had a way with her that made her a good teacher and Mom. I will miss that. Auntie Helen always remembered my birthday with a card and letter. I'm sure she remembered everyone's birthdays. She had asked me why God took Kay early. She also figured that God had a reason. If Helen didn't find out before she passed, maybe, she'll find out now. She will be greatly missed. Love you, Auntie Helen.
