Evelyn Walker, age 75, of Faribault, died on Friday, March 7, 2008 at the District One Hospital, Faribault.
Funeral services will be held at the Boldt Funeral Home on Tuesday, March 11, 2008 at 10:30 a.m. with the Chris Sorensen Woodside pastoral minister, officiating. Interment will be in the Meadow Ridge Memorial Park, Faribault.
Visitation will be held in the Boldt Funeral Home, Faribault on Tuesday for one hour prior to the services.
Evelyn Inis, the daughter of Roy and Clara (Inez) Walker was born on September 8, 1932 in Medford Township, Steele County. She was employed by Rice County Activity Center from 1973 to 2007.
She is survived by her sister, Ruby Velzke of Faribault; loving and caring staff and friends at Unity House; and other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, Dale and Herbert Walker; and three sisters, Marge and Doris Bailey and Gladys Herrald.

Memories

My condolences go out to the family of Evelyn Walker. I had never met her, but believe that she may have been a great aunt of mine. Her sister Doris could possibly have been my Grandmother. Memories

I just remember Evy always had a smile for everyone. She was such a sweet person and she was so funny! She always said things like "I like you, do you like me?" She had a hard time keeping her false teeth in her mouth and we would find them in the strangest places. Sometimes we spent quite a bit of time looking for them but once they were in her mouth she would have the biggest smile for you. I hope you are at peace Evy and we will never forget you!
