   Gerald V. Vohs, age 83, of Faribault, died on Tuesday, December 2, 2008 at his home.
   Funeral Services will be held at Trinity Lutheran Church, Faribault on Friday, December 5, 2008 at 10:30 a.m. with the Reverend Steven J. Kuehne officiating. Military rites will be conducted at the church by the Central Veterans Association. Private interment in Ft. Snelling National Cemetery, Minneapolis.
   Visitation will be held at the church for one hour prior to the service on Friday.
   Gerald Victor, the son of Alfred and Freda (Zimmerman) Vohs, was born August 1, 1925 in Morgan, MN. He married Mary Larson on July 1, 1964 in Minneapolis. Jerry was an independent salesman of restaurant equipment in the region.
   He is survived by his wife, Mary; a daughter, Mary Jo Speicher of Faribault; three brothers, Richard (and Ruth Ann) Vohs of Eagan, Don Vohs of Sun City Center, FL and James (and Pam) Vohs of Niceville, FL; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
   He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister, Shirley June Johnson and a brother, Eugene Vohs.
   Memorial gifts may be directed to Trinity Lutheran Church, Faribault.
