Virginia A. (Mrs. Ronn) Kotsmith, age 72, of Faribault,
died on Friday, July 4, 2008, in her home.
Services will be held on Tuesday, July 8, 2008 at 10:00
a.m. at Fourth Avenue United Methodist Church, Faribault, with the Reverend
David Brown, officiating. Interment will be held in the Fort Snelling
National Cemetery, Minneapolis.
Visitation will be held in the Boldt Funeral Home,
Faribault on Monday, July 7, 2008 from 5 to 8 p.m. and also in the church
for one hour prior to the services on Tuesday.
Virginia A., the daughter of Lloyd H. and Lois E.
(Nichols) Hoover was born on July 3, 1936 in St. Cloud. She graduated from
Washburn High School in Minneapolis and COE College in Cedar Rapids, IA in
1958. For a time she was employed as a medical records technician at
Fairview- Riverside Hospital, Minneapolis and Rapid City Regional Hospital,
Rapid City, SD. She married Ronald Kotsmith on October 20, 1983 in
Minneapolis. She was a member of Fourth Avenue United Methodist Church, P.
E. O and the American Legion Auxiliary.
She is survived by her husband, Ronn of
Faribault; two sons, Michael Langert of Eden Prairie and Christopher Langert
of Minneapolis; one step son, James (and Jennifer) Kotsmith of Lakeville;
four grandchildren, Kendall Langert, Jarrett, Jonas and Josephina Kotsmith;
one sister, Marjorie (and Clarence) Huro of Pine City; one brother-in-law,
Jerry Kotsmith of Eden Prairie; one sister-in-law, Kathy (and Mike) Brown of
Sioux Falls, SD; several nieces and nephews and special cousins, Rita Aker
and Jackie Keefer.
She was preceded in death by one infant son and
her parents.
