Mikey was the most giving person i know. He would give or do anything for anybody, there was no one else like him.I love you mikey.
It is so terrible to die at such a young age. I married into this family 6 years ago. Unfortunately, I can count on one hand the times we have been gotten together, and the last time was for Don's funeral, at least from my end. My prayers go out to you, my extended family.
I worked with Mike in Pine building at FRC. He always made work fun as he was always happy. I know he did the same at Hy-vee,he truly lived up to the Hy-vee motto,"A helpful smile in every aisle".He touched alot of lives and made them better.
Mike was one the best friends I've ever had.. While I regret not being able to attend the funeral. I'm positive he knows I care. Mike was the guy who knew it all. Any problem I had he was the guy with the answer. Whether it was about cars, girls, or jobs, he always had a story to tell and an experience to share. Mike you will be greatly missed. My Condolences, God Bless, ZacK

he was a good friend who liked helping people. he also liked freecycle on the computer picking up things for his family and friends. everytime I would go to Hyvee he would help me find something I could not find. he was and will always be a good friend of mine. he will be sadly missed by his family and friends. thank you...
To Pat, Sue, Jody, Alma and all of Mikes family; I could not believe reading about Mike! My thoughts and prayers are with you. Pat, I couldnt find your phone number, so I left a message with Boldts too. Please call me or send me your number when you feel up to it, then I can find out what happened with Mike. Because of my work schedule, and trying to sell this house, I cant be there Sunday or Monday, but would definitely be there if I could. Thinking of you.... David Fiebiger
What a sad thing to read in the paper this morning. I visited with Mike a week ago at Hy-Vee. I worked with Mike,Kathy and Pat years ago at the Faribault Regional Center. Although we all went many different directions after the campus closed...it was great to reconnect with Mike when he started to working at Hy-Vee. Always friendly as ever and always helpful. He would always stop to chat...that's a big part of his legacy.... Friendly and willing to Help anyone. I will miss visiting with him. My prayers go out to his entire family! Cindy Hoganson
Mike was always a wonderful friend. He always had a smile, a joke, something to make a person laugh, even at the wosrst of times. I enjoyed working with him. He and I became good friends. Hy-vee will not ever be the same with out him. We shared a lot about our children and the problems of raising teen-agers. I wish I would have gotten to know Mikey better. He was a very sweet man. He will be greatly missed by me and every one that knew him. My prayers go out to the family and friends.
