Dear Ones - We are so sorry that we unable to be with you these days. We loved your Mother so much and your Dad. With you are thankful for their Homegoing to the Lord and to each other. Gratitude fills our hearts for them and the times we had together. They inspired us with their faithfulness and selflessness. We see the same qualities now in each of you. Our thoughts and our prayers are with you. With love, Uncle Vic and Aunt Kay
Mom and I extend our deepest sympany on the death of your mom. I was hoping to attend the funeral, however, several other commitments are preventing me from doing so. I recently started a new job the end of April. That coupled with Nathan's school activities and an unplanned Dr. visit for Lonnie has pretty much put a stop to the trip. Both mom and I have wonderful memories of your family. Mom's, of course, go back many years when Lorna was young. Mine begins when your dad took the call to Bethesda. From that point on, my friendship with your family grew. John and I used to do things together since we were relatively close in age. I taught him how to ride a bike and he taught me how to shoot pool. :) When your parents moved to IL, Dale and Jim stayed with us until the school year was over. In considered both of them my "older brothers." Over the years, the friendship between our families has continued. Please continue to stay in touch and I will try to do likewise. God's blessings, Eleanor (Ellen)
