Todd

   Todd Peter Schreckenberg, age 49 of Faribault, passed away at his home on Wednesday, April 16, 2008 after an extended battle with cancer and complications of diabetes.
   Memorial services will be held at First English Lutheran Church, Faribault on Monday, April 21, 2008 at 10 a.m. with the Reverend David Hurtt officiating. Interment will be in Meadow Ridge Memorial Park, Faribault.
   A memorial visitation will be held at the Boldt Funeral Home, Faribault on Sunday, April 20 from 1 to 4 p.m. and also at the church for one hour prior to the services on Monday.
   Todd was born in Faribault on August 12, 1958 to Frank and Kathryn Schreckenberg. He attended Faribault Public Schools and graduated in 1977. Todd attended Faribault Vo-Tech in the small engines program and worked in the family business, Minnesota Maintenance Co. Todd loved old cars and the friends that came with the various clubs he belonged to. He was a member of the National Plymouth Club, the Model T Ford Club and the T-Totalers. Todd, along with his dad and brother, were in the process of restoring Todd’s 1924 Model T Ford this winter.
   Todd is survived by his father, Frank Schreckenberg of Faribault; five sisters, Cynthia Kubes of Faribault, Paula (and Jerry) Schauer of Faribault, Bobbi (and Keith) Blank of Le Sueur, Andrea Schreckenberg of Northfield and Melissa (and Dana) Thompson of Faribault; one brother, Bruce Schreckenberg of Faribault; many nieces and nephews; one great niece and two great nephews.
   He was preceded in death by his mother, Kathryn.

Memories

I knew most of Todd's family thru Cindy. Todd was a great guy and I always enjoyed seeing him driving the old cars in any of the Faribault parades. He was a wonderful person to get to know. My heart goes out to the family and may Todd be up there with the angels and singing Alleluia. May he rest in peace. My deepest sympathy, Mary Ann

Memories

I will miss seeing Todd at Art Moran's Wednesday morning meeting. I can't make the meeting that often from Siren, WI, but when I could, I would always see Todd and Curly and enjoyed talking with both. One thing that stuck with me was Todd always had hope, no matter how tough things got. That is an admirable characteristic. Todd was one of those fun people I got to meet in life and I will miss him.

To Cindy, Bruce and family, With all you have been through the last couple of days I believe it's a blessing that Todd is now in a better place. He was very lucky to have the two of you and your family caring for him at the end and all you have done.
