Lorraine J. (Mrs. Hubert Sr.) Rowe, age 86, of Faribault and formerly of
Owatonna and Moland, died Thursday, June 4, 2009 at Pleasant Manor Nursing
Home, Faribault.
Services will be held at the Boldt Funeral
Home, Faribault on Monday, June 8, 2009 at 1 p.m. with the Reverend Aaron
Brockmeier, officiating. Interment will be in Bohemian National Cemetery,
Owatonna.
Visitation will be held in the Boldt
Funeral Home, Faribault on Monday for one hour prior to the services.
Lorraine J., the daughter of George and
Vlasta (Kubat) Spatenka, Sr. was born December 26, 1922 in Owatonna. She
married Hubert W. Rowe Sr. on February 1, 1941 in Owatonna. He preceded
her in death on December 2, 1985. They farmed in the Kenyon area with
their son, Hubert, Jr. She enjoyed her vegetable and flower gardens and
being a member of the Faribault Senior Citizen Kitchen Band.
She is survived by a son, Hubert (and Mary)
Rowe Jr. of Owatonna, and a daughter, Mary Mason of Coldwater, MI; 5
grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; 7 siblings, Calvin (and Arlene)
Spatenka, Robert Spatenka, John (and Janice) Spatenka, Patricia (and
David) Bock, Mary Ann Copp, Donna (and David) Wobschall and Katherine (and
Rod) Kyllo; nieces; nephews; and other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents,
her husband; and six siblings.
