     Thomas A. Paquette, age 60, of Faribault, died on Saturday, February 9, 2008 at his home.
     Services will be held on Tuesday, February 12, 2008 at 10:30 at First English Lutheran Church, Faribault with the Reverend            Richard L. Jorgensen, officiating. Interment will be held in the Meadow Ridge Memorial Park, Faribault with veterans military rites provided by the Central Veterans Association.
     Visitation will be held in the Boldt Funeral Home, Faribault on Monday from 4 to 8 p.m. and also in the church for one hour prior to the services on Tuesday.
      Thomas Arthur Paquette, son of Harold and Marcella (Kading) Paquette was born on February 25, 1947 in Faribault. He graduated from Faribault Senior High School in 1965. He served in the U. S. Navy and he received the Purple Heart. He graduated from Dunwoody Institute, Minneapolis, Drafting and Estimating program in 1970. He married Irene M. Dahl on July 6, 1968 in Faribault. He was the office manager for LaVans Floor Covering for over 30 years and was also employed by Geberts Floor Covering. Tom was very active with the Boy Scouts. He was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles, American Legion and was a lifetime member of the Veteran’s of Foreign War.
      He is survived by his wife, Irene; two children, Jennifer (and Dave) Campbell and Scott (and Mikki) Paquette all of Faribault; three grandchildren, Garrett, Emily and Peyton Campbell; his mother, Marcella Paquette of Faribault; his four siblings, Gary Paquette, Larry Paquette, Gregory (and Lois) Paquette and Charles (and Julie) Paquette all of Faribault; and many other relatives and friends.
      He was preceded in death by his father, Harold Paquette in 1987.

Memories

I am so sorry to hear of this news, I want to extend my deepest sympathy to Jennifer, and her family. I will always remember the Dusek's coach and fan that was totally uncontrolable when it came to our slow pitch softball games. I am truly sorry for your loss, and I am sitting here typing remembering a time that we thought would never end.... our childhood. I will forever cherish those memories, because, we all came together for a game. We were all one, and by gosh did we have fun. I am sorry I missed the events, but please know that you are all in my prayers, and please know that Tom was important in the meaning of FUN---he was an awesome coach, and he always had a smile. Jen, I know it has been years since we spoke, but please know that I am thinking of you and your family, and that you are all in my prayers.

Memories

I met Tom through a friend of mine in high School(Dave Campbell) who is married to Tom's Daughter Jenny. Tom was a great guy and Always smiling when I saw him at bowling. I am very sorry for your lost. Because I know that he is missed allready. Irene I am very sorry for lost because I know that You and Tom were a great team. Memories

I am a longtime friend and former teammate of Irene. I met Tom through her. He was always supportive of the bowling team and just always a wonderful person. My heart goes out to Irene and her family. May God bless all of you.
