Dear Sandy and Linda, I was so sorry to hear of the death of your mother. What a beautiful lady she was! I know my mother always enjoyed working with her at church...both of them were so fussy!! Things had to be just RIGHT! I remember how talented she was with painting and wall-papering. In the last few years I would see Irene and Mrs. Kelm out and about it / such good friends! I have made a donation to First English church kitchen in memory of your mother. Thinking of you both. Tovah

Irene Searle will remain in my memory as a great lady. She was always positive, loving and held herself with great dignity. She was extremely kind to me and my family. My husband, Hung Nguyen, became her godson when he was eight years old. Irene showed him what it meant to be a christian. She was always interested in our children and remembered them at Christmas and birthdays. I will remember her love of American antiques, her wonderful gardens and her great smile. She was a very kind woman and will be greatly missed by our family. May time grant you peace and please know that you are not alone in missing Irene. Rose Judy
