Obituary for Raymond Schwanke

Raymond L. Schwanke, age 78, of Faribault, died on Monday, August 27,
2007 at his home.
Services will be held at the Boldt Funeral Home, Faribault, on Thursday,
August 30, 2007 at 1 p.m. with the Reverend Ronald Wik, pastor of Bethel
Lutheran Brethren Church, Faribault. Interment will be held at Meadow Ridge
Memorial Park, Faribault.
Visitation will be held at the Boldt Funeral Home, Faribault, on
Thursday for one hour prior to the service.
Raymond Lyle, the son of Royal L. and Larratta C. (Korsch) Schwanke, was
born March 5, 1929 in Faribault. He was a farmer and also was employed at
St. Olaf College for 33 years.
He is survived by nine siblings, Bernard (and Betty) Schwanke of
Morristown, Rosella Nusser of Faribault, Lewis (and Hazel) Schwanke of
Nerstrand, Howard Schwanke of Hopkins, Doris May (and Francis) Kadrlik of
Northfield, David Schwanke of Faribault, Janette (and Bernard) Hirdler of
Faribault, Beverly Teske of Faribault and Marlyn Schwanke of Faribault; one
brother in law, Kenneth Bauer of Owatonna; and other relatives.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Opal Mlenek and
Arlene A. Bauer; one brother, Arlan Schwanke; three siblings in infancy and
other relatives.
