To Mr. Meinke & Family, First of all, let me introduce myself. I am Adeline Malecha Riha, daughter of the late Ben Malecha (Lonsdale insurance agent) and Mary A. Malecha, a current resident of the Long Term Care Center at the Northfield Hospital. I first met Nordis, your wife, mother and grandmother when Mom entered the Care Center in December, 2005. She and Mom knew one another quite well; you had insurance from Dad. Nordis was such a friendly person who had a smile for everyone, even when it was painful for her. I would tease her about eating the wonderful "Spinach Souffle" the Care Center would serve for meals...she really didn't like it at all and chuckled when I told her it was good for her :) When asked how she felt, she would say "OK" or "Getting Better", never a word of feeling ill or being in pain. She was a wonderful person who had a heart that encompassed everyone. Her spirit will live on in all our hearts,I know it will in mine. It was a pleasure to know Nordis, even if for a short time. God Bless her. Adeline Malecha Riha 1620 Clare Court North Mankato, MN 56003-3403
