Luella

     Luella M. (Mrs. E. H.) Eifert, age 97, of Faribault, died on Friday, September 4, 2009 at the St. Lucas Care Center.
     Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, September 8, 2009 at 10:30 a.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church, Faribault, with the Reverend Steven J. Kuehne officiating. Interment will be at Maple Lawn Cemetery, Faribault.
     Visitation will be held in the church for one hour prior to the services on Tuesday.
     Arrangements are being completed by the Boldt Funeral Home, Faribault.
Luella M., the daughter of Henry and Elizabeth (Rippe) Thalmann, was born on October 3, 1911 in Ottertail. She married Edgar H. Eifert on October 22, 1934 in Ottertail. She was a Registered Nurse at the Lakeshore Inn, Waseca and Pleasant Manor Nursing Home, Faribault.
     She is survived by her husband, Pastor Edgar Eifert, two sons, Thomas (and Judi) Eifert of Fayetteville, PA and Daniel Eifert of New York, NY; three grandchildren; and four great grandchildren.
     She was preceded in death by one brother and ten sisters.
     In lieu of flowers memorial gift may be directed to Trinity Lutheran Church, Faribault.
