Dear Ruth, I will never forget you. You are one of the kindest, most caring and generous persons I've ever known. As a child visiting with Mom and Dad on those weekend nights, I was, and still am as an adult, influenced by what I learned from you about life, caring, family, and friendship. Raising a family and running the farm was hard work, but you did what needed to be done, and everyone was the better for it. You took it in stride, and did it with great pride. Hard won, and well deserved pride. Of all the people I have looked up to in my life, you are one of the best. God's beautiful and eternal rest to you Ruth. 'Till we meet again.
I am so sorry to hear about Ruth. She was a great lady and had a big influence on me. She took time out of her busy life to teach me how to embroider. She taught me knitting, sewing and cooking. Just being around her has allowed me,at a formidable age, to see what a family like hers was like. This has stayed with me all these years. She showed me what a joy, and sometimes frustrating, a large family can be. I can still hear her laughter as she found her joy in her family and friends. And the tears that sometimes welled up in her sparkly eyes. She had such a good way of looking at the world. I am so grateful that I was able to have been around her at time when I needed her care and love. I am sory I could not have given to her as she had given to me. She has gone to join her family and friends in the realm of Our Lord. Goodbye, Ruth. I will miss you. Love, Linda
Gramma was one of the sweetest women that I EVER had the pleasure to meet. She always made me feel like just one of her grand kids. I apologize for Neil or I being unable to attend her wake or her funeral, but all of you are in my thoughts and prayers. Please feel free to call me if there is anything we can do. Love you all, Lisa Wadekamper
I now all of you will miss her ,I`m sorry for your loss ,May be with all . My prays are with all. Sherry
