     Ben M. Lowe, age 79, of Faribault, died on February 4, 2008 at the St. Mary’s Hospital, Rochester.
      Private services will be held for the family.
     A memorial visitation will be held in the Boldt Funeral Home, Faribault on Thursday, February 7, 2008 from 2 to 4 p.m.
      Interment will be at the Fort Snelling National Cemetery, Minneapolis.
      Ben M., the son of Thad and Lila Lowe was born on July 30, 1928 in Norwalk, CA. He served in the U. S. Army from 1945 – 1966. He retired from driving truck over the road. He was employed for over five years at Walmart, Faribault without one sick day.    He married Norma on December 25, 1980 in Long Beach, CA.
     He is survived by his wife, Norma; one son, Nicholas (and Candy) Crooks of Faribault; two grandchildren, Alicia Crooks and Brandon Crooks both of Faribault; one great granddaughter, Kyra; one sister, Patricia (and Tom) of Norwalk, CA.
     He was preceded in death by one son, Kenneth Crooks; and one brother.
