   Tamera “Tammy” M. (Mrs. Eric) Madow, age 47, of Faribault, died Monday, March 3, 2008 at her home.
   It was always Tammy’s wish that no services be held at the time of her death.
   Tamera Marie, the daughter of Ervin C. and Marion (Chavie) Mensing, was born December 4, 1960 in Faribault. On April 20, 1986, she married Eric Madow in Faribault. She worked at the Regional Center and Shumway Group Home in Faribault for 30 years, and was a member of AFSME Local 607.
   She is survived by her husband, Eric, of Faribault; a son, Jason Madow (and fiancée, Leticia); grandchildren, Lea and Bailey Madow; step grandchildren, Alizia Bruley and Isis Walters; her mother and step-dad, Marion and Francis McHugo of Faribault; five siblings, Theresa (and Steve) Johnson of Kenyon, Tony (and Denise) Mensing and Cathy (and Gregg) Bauer of Faribault, Tom Mensing of Dover and Cecelia (and Tom) Seykora of Faribault; step-sister, Dianne Round Cheney; mother-in-law, Shirlee Madow of Faribault, sister-in-law, Lynn (and Tim) Madow Dennis of St. Paul, and brother-in-law, Doug (and Anne) Madow of Faribault and many nieces and nephews.
  She was preceded in death by her father, Ervin Mensng Jr., stepdad, Gerald Round; and father-in-law, Arnold Madow.
  Memorials may be directed to the Shriner’s Children’s Hospital in St. Paul in her name or the donor’s choice.

She could always be counted on to do some of the "extra things and her calm and easy-going manner was appreciated by all who worked with her. Tammy will be greatly missed. I went to school with Tammy, when we were at IC School I remember the year we decided to dress up for the Halloween Party as a 3 legged monster, we laughed so much that night. We had to walk sharing one boot, it was a riot but by the end of the night we got pretty good at it!! Tammy was a wonderful person and a wonderful friend. I have so many great memories of Tammy but the thing that sticks out the most is how both her and Eric opened up their home to us every Sunday for that Viking game. Tammy loved her Vikings. I only knew Tammy from work through the State and the local union. Tammy always was smiling and very easy to talk to..She was a great person and will miss her. My prayers are with the family.
