I first met Helen at the RegionalCenter in 1970, she was a hard worker and shared so much knowledge and wisdom with her co-workers. She went out of her way to help us in our careers. I personally patterened my working years at Faribault after Helen, leaving in 1995. I will always remember your mother and the care and concern and love she gave to friends/clients that passed thru her life. Her garden was the envy of all as I remember. Even though I never met all of you I felt we knew you because of your mom. Helen lived a great life and never lacked for love from family and friends. Kathleen Stadler Dewey Az.
The Family of Helen Kispert; Our deepest sympathy in your recent loss. Helen will be greatly missed in the Nerstrand/Kenyon community. Our prayers are with all of you!
My name is Bonnie Jean Flom and I had the privilege of meeting Helen when I served as the principal of Nerstrand Elementary School. It was during my time there that Helen was honored as a community elder. How wonderful it was to have the opportunity to interview Helen and learn about her extraordinary life in service to others. I consider her one of my personal role models and I will be forever grateful for the time I was able to spend with her. Of course, I had the opportunity to know Helen as a loyal volunteer at the school in Nerstrand. She would come to the school every Wednesday to work with the children. And how pleased the children were to have the opportunity to work with this amazing woman. I learned recently that, in her final days, Helen was a patient at the Hospice where she had volunteered for many, many years. It seems so fitting to me that she would be in the loving hands of the hospice facility that she helped to establish. My sympathies are with all of you and I also celebrate with you a life well lived that was rooted in love and kindness toward others. Sincerely, Bonnie Jean Flom
