   Henry A. Karow Jr., age 70 of Faribault died on Wednesday, February 27, 2008 at Abbott Northwestern Hospital, Minneapolis.
   Funeral services will be held at the Boldt Funeral Home, Faribault on Saturday, March 1, 2008 at 10 a.m. with Pastor Joey Karow officiating. Interment will be in the Maple Lawn Cemetery, Faribault.
   Visitation will be held at the Boldt Funeral Home on Friday, February 29 from 4 to 7 p.m. and for one hour prior to the service on Saturday.
   Henry August, the son of Henry and Leola (Stam) Karow Sr. was born on April 21, 1937 in Faribault. He married Virginia Clark on  July 27, 1957 in Faribault. He worked at McQuay in Faribault for 32 years before retiring in 1995. Henry loved spending time with his grandchildren and was known for his woodworking.
   He is survived by his wife, Virginia; five children, Arthur Karow of Faribault, Susan (and Lynn) Pietz of Faribault, Joey (and Angie) Karow of Thief River Falls, Linda (and Danny) Gillis of Faribault, Lisa (and Doug) Robson of Owatonna; 14 grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; three sisters, Virginia Heitsch, Kathryn (and Paul) Turner, and Jan (and Gary) Moravec, all of Faribault; two brothers, Larry (and Donna) Karow and Brian (and Michael Hick) Stam all of Faribault.
   He was preceded in death by his parents.

Just would like to share my sympathy with your family of the loss of your Father. He was a very nice man. I worked with him at MCQuay and he was always so patient. I remember him bringing in the best popcorn ball to share. God Bless your family at this time. Irene Paquette

Memories

The many memories of Son are part of my childhood. Growing up he was part of our family. Always living close by. After moving to California with my parents in the mid 50's, I did not get to personally see Son until the late 70's. After that I made many trips to Faribault, usually once a year sometimes more. I always stayed with Son's MOM. Before our cousin Shirley died, She and I and her brother Steve visited Faribault. One of our most happy visits was with Son and His family. I feel sad at his passing, but all my memories and pictures will keep his memory with me for the rest of my life. May God Bless you and that know that he will always be with you in your memories.
