     Lorraine A. (Mrs. Herbert) Kalien, age 85, of Faribault, died on Monday, May 26, 2008 at Infinia Care Center of Faribault.
     Services will be held on Thursday, May 29, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church, Faribault, with the Reverend Steven J. Kuehne officiating. Interment will be held in Meadow Ridge Memorial Park, Faribault.
     Visitation will be held at the Boldt Funeral Home, Faribault, on Wednesday, May 28, 2008, from 3 to 6 p.m. and also in the church for one hour prior to the services on Thursday.
     Lorraine A., the daughter of Ernest and Marie (Ferch) Krause, was born on September 4, 1922 in Morristown. She married Herbert L. Kalien on May 10, 1941 in Riverside, CA. He preceded her in death on January 20, 2000. She was formerly employed by Faribo Woolen Mills, Faribault Regional Center and Sodexho Food Service at the Faribault High School.
     She is survived by three children, Patricia (and James) Stewart, Michael (and Jean Morris) Kalien and Diane (and Mark) Holtzworth, all of Faribault; three grandchildren, Kirsten Berken, Sarah Kalien and Korey Geller; five great grandchildren, Zachary and Asha Hullett, Jordan Berken, Timothy and Joshua Venaro; and one sister, Evelyn Hering.
     She was preceded in death by her husband, Herbert; her parents; one grandson, Mark Venaro; and one sister, Delores Bowen.
