Harvey
O. Goedtel, age 92, of Faribault, died on Thursday, September 20,
2007, at the Pleasant Manor Nursing Home, Faribault.
Services will be held at the Boldt Funeral Home, Faribault on Monday,
September 24, 2007 at 10:30 a.m. with the Reverend George Toschak, pastor of
Fourth Avenue United Methodist Church, Faribault, officiating. Interment
will be held in the Concordia Cemetery, North Morristown.
Visitation will be held at the Boldt Funeral Home on Sunday, September
23, 2007 from 2 to 4 p.m. and also for one hour prior to the services on
Monday.
Harvey O. Goedtel was born on March 16, 1915. He married Rosemary Pavek
on August 29, 1940 and she preceded him in death on March 28, 1970. He was
Chief Engineer at Shattuck-St. Maryıs School, Faribault for many years.
He is survived by two sons, John (and Rosemary) Goedtel of Hills and
Gerald Goedtel of the Twin Cities; one grandson, Sean Goedtel of Hills; two
brothers, Alvin Goedtel and Laverne (and Jean) Goedtel of Faribault; nieces;
nephews and other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Rosemary.
