MARIE A. ESTIPULAR  

 

 

 

     Marie A. “DeDe” Estipular, age 88, of Faribault, died on Friday, November 21, 2008 at the St. Lucas Care Center, Faribault.
     Private services will be held for the family.
     Arrangements are being complete by the Boldt Funeral Home, Faribault.
     Marie A., the daughter of Roscoe and Candace (Cross) Stam was born on September 13, 1920 in Faribault. She married Cayetano Estipular and he preceded her in death. She was formerly employed by Andrews Nursery in Faribault for 35 years.
     She is survived by two children, Andrew (and Shirley) Diaz of Independence, MO and Darlene (and John) Corrigan of Northfield; nine grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; two siblings, Candace Stam of Faribault and Genevieve of Lodi, CA; and special care givers, Lynn and Susan Pietz of Faribault.
     She was preceded in death by her husband and seven siblings.

Memories

Marie (Aunt De-De) was my favorite aunt. My Dad (Raymond Stam), her brother were very close and we visited with them very often. Marie was a very special person and was always there when you needed her. I remember sharing memories of my dad and finding out information on the families every time I visited her. She was always very happy to see you come to visit. We laughed and joked together. She will be missed by me very much, more than words can ever say. I know that she is with God and my Dad which will make her very happy. I learned so much from her and the last time I visited her she was smiling and laughing as we talked.
