     Mildred B. (Mrs. Charles) DuChene, age 84, formerly of Faribault, died on Sunday, August 10, 2008 in Strongsville, OH.
     Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Divine Mercy Catholic Church at Sacred Heart, Faribault on Thursday, August 14, 2008 at 2 p.m. with the Reverend Michael Kaluza officiating. Interment will be in Meadow Ridge Memorial Park, Faribault.
     Visitation will be held at the church for one hour prior to the Mass on Thursday.
     Arrangements are being completed by the Boldt Funeral Home, Faribault.
     Mildred Bertha, the daughter of Clarence and Anna (Schuenke) Piepho was born March 26, 1924 in Faribault. On December 15, 1943, she married Charles R. DuChene in Faribault, and he preceded her in death on June 29, 2001. She was a homemaker.
     She is survived by four children, Steven DuChene of Strongsville , OH, Thomas DuChene of St. Petersburg, FL, Janet DuChene of Faribault and Lois DuChene of Minneapolis; five grandchildren; two great grandchildren; a brother Ralph Piepho of Faribault, and a sister, Darlene Gerald of Long Beach, CA, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
     She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Charles; and five siblings, Ethel Schuette, Donald Piepho, Veleria Bauer, Elizabeth Mensing and Helen Burke.
