Elwood

   Elwood L. Dahl, age 77, of Faribault, died on Friday, November 9, 2007 at St. Lucas Care Center, Faribault.
   Funeral services will be held at First English Lutheran Church, Faribault, on Tuesday, November 13, 2007 at 1:30 p.m. Interment will be at Meadow Ridge Memorial Park, Faribault.
   Visitation will be at the Boldt Funeral Home on Monday, November 12, 2007 from 4 to 7 p.m. and also at the church on Tuesday for one hour prior to the service.
   Elwood L. Dahl, the son of Tilman and Frieda (Simon) Dahl, was born on June 24, 1930 in Dodge County, MN. He attended Country School in Steele County. On July 30, 1954 Elwood was married to Donna (Dahl) Dahl in Faribault. In his teen years he farmed with his father. He was employed in construction business until his retirement.
Elwood is survived by his wife of 53 years, Donna, of Faribault; a son, Steven (and Tammie) Dahl of Faribault; a brother, Vern (and Lallie) Dahl of Waseca; two sisters in law, Marilyn Dahl of Owatonna and Marie Craig of Faribault; grandchildren and great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
   He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, David in 1986; one sister, Beverly and brothers, Lloyd and Alan.
