Lucile F. Bull, age 97 of
Little Prairie died on Saturday, June 30, 2007 at
Pleasant Manor Nursing Home, Faribault. Memorial Services will be held at Little Prairie United Methodist Church, rural Dundas on Friday, July 13, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. with the Reverend Gordon Deuel, officiating. Interment will be in Meadow Ridge Memorial Park, Faribault. Memorial visitation will be held at the Boldt Funeral Home, Faribault on Thursday, July 12, 2007 from 4 to 7 p.m. and also for one hour prior to the service on Friday. Lucile was born on January 8, 1910 in Paynesville to John H. and Esther (Roach) Finger. The family moved to the Little Prairie area in 1920. She attended Little Prairie School and graduated from Faribault High School in 1927. She attended the University of Minnesota, Miss Woods Kindergarten and Primary Training School, and earned a teaching degree from Mankato State University. As an educator, she taught in Dundas, Sherburn, Forest Rural District and Northfield. She retired from teaching in 1975. She married James F. Bull on June 18, 1935 in Little Prairie and he preceded her in death on November 8, 1994. Lucile was dedicated to her family and friends, her church, and her career. Her faith in the Lord, Jesus Christ was evident throughout her life. Her deep spirit and service to others will be an inspiration for all who knew, loved, and now miss her. She is survived by her two sons, James (and Phyllis) and Henry (and Laurel); six grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren and four great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, James and two brothers, Clarence and Donald. Memorials may be given to the Little Prairie United Methodist Church Sunday School.

To the family of Lucile, She was a great person and i totally injoyed working with her at P Manor.. She and Netty were so fun to sit with during meals and talk to.. I know she will be missed and she and Netty can sit together now and do more talking.. Lucile Will be missed.. You have all my thoughts and prayers.. Teri Bauer ( former P Manor day staff..)
