Obituary for Joan E. Bray

Joan Elizabeth Bray, age 66 of Montgomery, died on Sunday, December 7, 2008 at Pleasant Manor Nursing Home, Faribault.

Memorial Funeral Mass will be held at Divine Mercy Catholic Church at Sacred Heart, Faribault on Thursday, December 11, 2008 at 10:30 a.m. with the Reverend Kevin Finnegan officiating.

Memorial visitation will be held at the church for one hour prior to the service on Thursday.

Joan Elizabeth Bray was born November 2, 1942 in Northfield to Elwyn and Ethel (Tupy) Bray. She graduated from Northfield High School. She was previously married to Myrth Mogren and they raised four children together. Joan lived in Lonsdale for many years prior to moving to Montgomery. She was very active in the Catholic Church and enjoyed music.

She is survived by her four children, Adrian (and Kelly) Mogren of Kenyon, Annette (and Matt) Stenger of Faribault, Brenda (and Todd) Fletcher of Kenyon and David Mogren of Zumbrota; nine grandchildren, Daryl Mogren, Cynthia (Troy) Anderson, Jacob Mogren, Jessica Mogren, Justin Mogren, Sarah (Justin Johnson) Bednar, Cierra (Curt Ennis) Stenger, Alexia Fletcher and Dakota Fletcher; four great grandchildren, Amarissa, Marcus and Capri Bednar and Carter Ennis; two sisters, Diane (Jerry Hatfield) Busch of Northfield and Linda “Lee” (and Sam) Hicks of Murfreesboro, TN.

She was preceded in death by her parents and two grandsons, Matthew and Samuel Stenger.
