    Rita (Mrs. Robert) Bisping, age 65, of Faribault, died peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Saturday, February 23, 2008 at St. Mary’s Hospital, Rochester.
     Funeral services will be held at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church, Faribault, on Thursday, February 28, 2008 at 10:30 a.m. with the Reverend Steven Delzer officiating. Interment will be at Meadow Ridge Memorial Park, Faribault.
     Visitation will be at the Boldt Funeral Home on Wednesday from 3 to 8 p.m. and at the church on Thursday one hour prior to the service.
     Rita Davidson was born on March 19, 1942 in Faribault to Oscar W. and Mildred (True) Davidson. She married Robert E. Bisping on November 26, 1960 at First English Lutheran Church, Faribault. He preceded her in death on November 14, 2006. She was employed for 22 years at District One Hospital as a nurse’s aid and later provided day care in her home. She volunteered her time with church, making cool ties for the soldiers in Iraq and Afghanistan. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends. Her hobbies included sewing, crafts and baking “the best cookies in the world”.
     She is survived by six children, Randy (Pamela) Bisping of Faribault, Jeffrey (Angie) Bisping of Faribault, Brian (Cheryl) Bisping of Virginia, MN, Dawn (Steve) Fischer of Westby, WI, Craig Bisping (and special friend, Marcia Coyle) of Longmont, CO, and Renee (Larry) Schmidt of Kenyon; 16 grandchildren, Ryan, Chelsea and Matthew Bisping, Jessica Bisping, Zach DeMars, Christopher and Michael Bisping, Nicholas and Michaella Fischer, Travis Shoup, Alexis Autrey, Brandon and Emily Fitcher, Nathan, Joshua and Vanessa Schmidt; a great grandchild, Carson Cramer; two sisters, Marlys (Maynard) Kewitsch of Burnsville and Linda (Dennis) Gare of Faribault; one brother in law, Neil (Elsie) Bisping of Arvada, CO; many nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
     She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Robert; four unborn children; and one brother in law, Chester Bisping.

Memories

I just want you to know how sad I am for all of you right now. You had the greatest Mom in the world. She was the strongest woman I know. She was my friend for SOOOO many years. Way back before she was ever married to your Dad and we remained friends for so many years. I loved our phone calls, they went on forever and we always found things to laugh about. I will miss her terribly. I know you have a large hole in your lives right now, but I hope you're able to take comfort in knowing that she's with her Lord and Savior. She told me not long ago, that she's already lived alot longer than she ever thought she would. She seemed quite content knowing that her days were probably numbered. She knew where she was going and I think she is now with our Dad again and I know that makes her happy. I continue to pray for all her children that you will find Peace and hope that you won't mourn too long because she would want you to go on and be happy. Memories

To the entire Bisping family: May you know that you are in our thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. We will miss having Rita as our neighbor. Not only could she make us laugh each time we talked to her, she was just like another grandma for the kids, and was a great help for last minute sewing emergencies! Take care and God Bless.
