   Mildred L. (Mrs. Robert) Anderson, age 83 of Cannon City died on Wednesday, May 14, 2008 at her residence.
   Funeral Services will be held at First Baptist Church, Faribault on Monday, May 19, 2008 at 1:30 p.m. with the Reverend Daniel D. Mead officiating. Interment will be in Maple Lawn Cemetery, Faribault.
   Visitation will be held at the Boldt Funeral Home, Faribault on Sunday, May 18 from 2 to 5 p.m. and also at church for one hour prior to the service on Monday.
   Mildred Louise was born on June 28, 1924 in Faribault to Fred and Caroline (Hachfeld) Bisping. She married Robert M. Anderson on November 1, 1958 in Algona, IA. Along with being a homemaker, Millie was previously employed with Lehman’s Greenhouse and Owatonna Canning Co.
   She is survived by her husband Robert; one son, Kimm (and Cathy) Anderson of Sauk Rapids; two step sons, Robert (and Gaynelle) Anderson of Owatonna and Elmer (and Betty) Anderson of Gig Harbor, WA; one step daughter, Billie Rae (and Michael) Stiff of Faribault; two grandchildren, Grady and Alyssa; and other relatives and friends.
   She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Malinda Horak and Laura Mahagnoul; and two brothers, Ervin and Harold Bisping.

Memories

Dear Family; I was quite taken back by this event and great loss. I always enjoyed the time at the lake years ago and mostly at Winnebago with everyone. Since my move to GA it has not been as easy to see everyone. Uncle Bob I wish you my best and you will be in my prayers. Memories

Just wanted to let you know that I will be thinking of you, Uncle Bob, and the whole family with this great loss. I was always remembered on my birthday with a beautiful card from Uncle Bob and Aunt Millie accompanied by one of those newsy letters from Millie. I will be praying for your family. Memories

I will remember Millie as one lady who always smiled and had a cheerful disposition. Her faith in God reflected in how she loved and treated others regardless of who they were. Her warm hand shake and soft voice was calming and made a good impact on her community and people around her. This world will miss Millie's life but has been blessed with her presence. May the good memories of her powerful life give her surviving family comfort when they are feeling her absence.
