	Evelyn E. Witte

Evelyn	Evelyn E. (Mrs. Ralph) Witte, age 80 of Faribault, died on Friday, September 5, 2008 at Pleasant Manor Nursing Home, Faribault. Funeral Services will be held at First Baptist Church, Faribault on Wednesday, September 10, 2008 at 1:30 p.m. with the Reverend Daniel D. Mead officiating. Interment will be in Maple Lawn Cemetery, Faribault. Visitation will be held at the Boldt Funeral Home, Faribault on Tuesday, September 9 from 4 to 7 p.m. and also at the church for one hour prior to the service on Wednesday. Evelyn Elaine, the daughter of Frank and Carrie (Gustafson) Grimm was born October 31, 1927 in Faribault. She attended country school in Rice County District 30. On November 28, 1951, she married Ralph F. Witte at First Baptist Church, Morristown and he preceded her in death on July 29, 2004. Together they farmed for 20 years in Warsaw Township. Evelyn was active with the Rice County Extension group. She is survived by two children, Dale (and Sandra) Witte of Coon Rapids and Pamela (and David) Beener of Des Moines, IA; four grandchildren, Curtis Witte of Tulare, CA, Scott (and Stephanie Haughton) Witte of Visalia, CA, Jaclyn Beener of Phoenix and Sarah Beener of Des Moines, IA; step-grandchildren, Lisa Brand and Scott Beener of Des Moines, IA; two great grandchildren, Brooke and Mason Witte of Tulare, CA; three sisters, Erna (and Mike) Quam of Kenyon, Edna (and Alfred) Quam of Kenyon and Dorothy Musegades of Faribault; three brothers, Everett (and Mary) Grimm of Faribault, Burton (and Ludie) Grimm of Montgomery and Frank (and Darlene) Grimm of Tucson, AZ; and a brother in law, Harold (and Kay) Witte of Faribault. Memories

I remember going to Ralph and Evelyn's farm to have a sleep over with Pam. We would always see the cousins at church. Evelyn would be helping in the kitchen and always had a smile. Our loss here is heaven's gain. She will be with cousin Ralph now. I'm sorry I will not be able to be at the funeral, but my thoughts and prayers are with you. Memories

I will always remember visiting Aunt Evelyn and Uncle Ralph on there farm. The fun times we had there. They were the best Aunt and Uncle. My prayers are with Aunt Evelyn and I know she is at peace now and joined again with Uncle Ralph.

Our sympathies and prayers are with you. Evelyn was a very special person and we have many happy memories. I know now she is happy with Ralph in heaven. We are sorry we are in Idaho so we will miss the funeral, which is very sad. But we saw her last Sunday as she was. We will truly miss her as we do Ralph. Our prayers go out to her family at this difficult time. We love you all.
