Betty (Mrs. Eldred) Whitlow,
age 79 formerly of St. Cloud, died on Sunday, April 5, 2009 at St. Lucas
Care Center, Faribault.
Memorial services will be
held at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 1012 E. Division St. in
St. Cloud on Saturday, April 11, 2009 at 2 p.m.
Arrangements are being
completed by the Boldt Funeral Home, Faribault.
Betty Ann, the daughter of
Aleck and Myrtle (Stoik) Beylund was born January 4, 1930 in Barron
County, Wisconsin. She was baptized as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses in
1941. She graduated from high school in Madison, WI. On June 1, 1955,
Betty married Eldred Whitlow in Madison. They moved to the St. Cloud area
in 1958 where they raised their family. Eldred preceded her in death
on
October 26, 1996. She moved to Blackduck in 2003 and in May of 2008 to
St. Lucas Care Center, Faribault.
She is survived by her four
children, Nathan (and Patricia) Whitlow of Faribault, Daniel (and Chris)
Whitlow of Fairbanks, AK, Joseph (and Laurie) Whitlow of Sauk Rapids and
Leah (and Roy) Lucken of Blackduck; six grandchildren, Sarah, Jeremy,
Tawnya, Aleshia, Skyayla and K.C.; one great grandson, Jayden and her
nephews.
She was preceded in death by
her parents; her husband, Eldred; two sons, Joshua and David Whitlow; and
two sisters, Doris Enquist and Alice McCracken.

Sorry to hear about your mom's passing. Seems like she was just out here with Al and Joyce. I have lots of great memories with your family. I remember your house on 95, the bridge, the meandering creek, what a great place to grow up. When my mom died 3 weeks after my dad, the realization that I was now an orphan was a very overwhelming. I now have lots of empathy for those losing parents, and I wish you all the best in dealing with that situation and your loss, I'm sure your hope for the future will be of great comfort to you. Ike
