Dear Bev and family, It seems like we just connected again after not seeing each other for years since the Wilson Center. I remember fondly the stories you would tell about Jack and the love your family had for each other. Now with this dear and so very important member gone, I am sure you will struggle. I also know that your faith is strong, and I will keep you in my prayers to ask God to hold you close during this time. Sincerely, Nancy and Larry Baldwin

Dear Bev and Family-- I am so sorry. I remember your wedding, the dancing, that pink dress I wore, and later, the chats in your kitchen on LaDonna while the kids took their naps. It's been such a long time but know that I'm thinking about you and wishing you comfort, strength, and love all around you.

I remember the time when I sat on Jacks knee, I only knew him a Santa while I was young. I'm 13 now and I have talked to Jack when I ate breakfast with my Father (Shane Minor) and he was a great guy, but know I am deeply saddened by his death. I will miss him very much and I give my deepest sympathy to the family. Ill miss you Santa.

I have photos of my children sitting on this Santa's lap. Jack was an asset to the community and brought joy to those around him. We hardly new each other, but he would walk up to me on his way out from morning coffee, place his hand on my shoulder, smile, and wish me a good day. People would say he's in a better place. Jack made this a better place. I will miss him.

To all of the family, Sometimes the hurt is so deep there are no words, but know that your family is held the hearts of so many. Lean on the love and support of all those who gather to hold you close and who fumble for the words that don't exist, and may you find comfort in the love they share.

Bev, there is nothing I can say or do to help ease your pain. But just know your gal pals are always there for you and call on us whenever you need or want something. And knowing how many people loved Jack will hopefully get you through this difficult time. I will always remember how he brought soup and fish dinners up to the office to share with us. And how he even won over Kylee when she was a little leery of Santa. Jack even thought of the big kids at Christmas with a "special" gift for Tom! Love you! Becky

There was no one like Jack. Watching him year after year with the children at Hometown Holidays, his heart was bigger than the fire truck he road in on. Bev and family, my heart aches for you and know if there is ANYTHING that I can do, please call, 332-8730. My love and deepest sympathy to your family. The children of Faribault have lost one of their dearest angels.

I am so very sorry for your loss. When I lost my husband, and my kids their daddy, "Mr & Mrs Claus" came out and personally visited us on our first Christmas without Marc, brought presents and so much joy for me and the kids. Jack handed me an envelope before he left, with a very generous donation from a group he is involved with. What a wonderful soul he had and I know so many people will miss him. Bev, if you want to talk, in time, Kelly has my number. Feel free to call me anytime, anytime at all. God Bless you and hold you in His arms at this difficult time. I'll be praying. Andrea

Some of my fondest memories of my time as Mayor are when I got to escort Santa to the Library on the fire truck every December. The highlight of my retirement party was when Santa and Mrs. Claus presented me with a framed photo of "our" fire truck. Jack will be missed greatly by the children of Faribault and will be remembered every December. I am very sorry for your loss.
