   Patricia A. (Mrs. Willard) Kniefel Shaffer, age 62, of Faribault, died on Tuesday, October 21, 2008 at Abbott-Northwestern Hospital, Minneapolis. She carried out her wish to be a donor in order to share the gift of life with those in need.
   Funeral services will be held at the Boldt Funeral Home, Faribault on Saturday, October 25, 2008 at 2 p.m. with Chris Sorensen Woodside, Pastoral Minister of Divine Mercy Catholic Church, officiating. Interment will be in Union Cemetery, Medford.
   Visitation will be held at the Boldt Funeral Home on Saturday from 12:00 to 2 pm.
   Patricia Ann, the daughter of Louis E. and Beatrice “Betty” (Jarvis) Kniefel was born on June 28, 1946 in Faribault. She graduated from Medford High School in 1964. She was employed at the Faribault Regional Center for 30 years and later at the Country Kitchen, Faribault.
   She is survived by her son, Anthony “Tony” Shaffer of Faribault; her mother, Beatrice “Betty” Kniefel of Faribault; four siblings, David (and Jackie) Kniefel, Rick Kniefel, Christine Borgstahl and Greg (and Theresa) Kniefel all of Faribault; a special friend, Fran Malecha of Faribault; a special nephew, Gabe Kniefel of Faribault; one aunt, Dorothy Juhnke of Faribault; nieces; nephews; two cats, Fred and George; and many friends.
   She was preceded in death by her husband, Willard; her father, Louis; her maternal and paternal grandparents; and one great niece, Isabella Kniefel.
