Obituary For Clifford Miller

Clifford A. Miller, age 79, of Morristown, died on Wednesday, April 22, 2009 at his home.

Funeral services will be at Peace United Methodist Church, Morristown, on Monday, April 27, 2009 at 10:30 a.m. with Pastor Elden Eklund officiating. Interment will be at Riverside Cemetery, Morristown, with military rites will be provided by American Legion Post 149, Morristown.

Visitation will be held at the Boldt Funeral Home, Faribault, on Sunday, April 26, 2009 from 2 to 6 p.m. and also at the church on Monday for one hour prior to the service.

Clifford A. Miller, the son of Alfred and Emma (Boehm) Miller, was born on May 22, 1929 in Alma City, Waseca County. Clifford graduated from Hayfield High School in 1947. He spent four years in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean Conflict. On June 16, 1957, he married Elaine Gunneson at East St. Olaf Church, Rock Dell, MN. Prior to his retirement, Clifford worked at K&G Manufacturing of Faribault for 26 years. During his retirement, he was a volunteer driver for Rice County Veterans Service and he was a member of the Morristown American Legion, Post 149.

Clifford enjoyed gardening, fishing on Leech Lake, playing cards, being everybody’s “fix-it-man” and spending time with his family. Clifford will always be remembered for his sense of humor, his strong work ethic, his willingness to help others and for always putting his love for his family first.

Clifford is survived by his wife, Elaine, of Morristown; two sons, Bruce Miller and Rick (and Kim) Miller, both of Morristown; one daughter, Lori (and Kevin) Remund of Morristown; five grandchildren, Kristina and Samantha Miller and Matthew, Michelle and Nicholas Remund; one sister, Marcella (and Donald) Delzer of Missoula, MT; one brother, Harvey (and Mae) Miller of Dodge Center; one sister in law, Gladys Miller of Ft. Collins, CO; and by many nieces, nephews and other relatives.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Beverly Storhoff and one brother, Wilbert Miller.
