TIMOTHY DANIEL POHLMANN

Timothy

Timothy Daniel Pohlmann, age 25, of Faribault, died on Saturday, February 5, 2011.

A memorial service will be held at the Boldt Funeral Home, Faribault, on Wednesday, February 9, 2011 at 7:00 p.m. with a memorial visitation from 4 to 7 p.m., prior to the service.

Timothy Daniel, the son of Karl and Vickie (Wadekamper) Pohlmann, was born on April 2, 1985 in Northfield. He graduated from Faribault High School with the class of 2003 and attended the University of Minnesota, Duluth. Timothy was a smart, intuitive, caring and funny man. He loved to spend time with his Grandfather Dan and thoroughly enjoyed Grandma Betty’s wild game cooking. His interests included music, hunting, fishing, and the arts. He also loved to write, especially to Opa. He was a talented musician, a thoughtful son and a great brother. Tim will be remembered for his great sense of humor, his amazing personality and his search for knowledge. Tim enjoyed drawing, trapping, music and trips "up north." He will be forever missed....

He is survived by his mother, Vickie; two brothers, John Pohlmann of Vail, CO and Ryan Pohlmann of Faribault; grandparents, Dan and Betty Wadekamper of Faribault and Ken Pohlmann of Huntley, IL; special friends, Mark and Mary Lenway; his two dogs, Puppy and Chase, whom he cared deeply for; and tons of cousins, aunts, uncles and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Karl; and grandmother, Kathy Pohlmann.

Memories

This is a bit late, but Tim aka. "Timo" was my cousin. When I think about him I think about the times we would play guitar together. We would teach each other things we knew on the guitar. I think about him everyday. I also think about that grin of his he would get when he would make a joke. I will never forget him.

Memories

It is with a heart filled with love for your family that I write following hearing the news of Tim's death only two days ago. Dan is my cousin, my parents Greg/Varian Gillen. I used to hear them talk about and look forward to Easter Sunday brunch, I think it was, at your house, Vicki. Words are inadequate for the grief of your loss. I only offer my thoughts because of many memories of Dan/Betty. Being the oldest girl in our family, I had the privilege of knowing these "older" cousins better than my younger sibs. And Dan is one to remember! And I distinctly remember them going together and, later, getting married. Then, the birth of each of you. And how they love their grandchildren...that doesn't stop. My prayers are with you all. Please extend my thoughts to Dan/Betty as well as I'm currently out of the country w/our son, Hank. May God give you His strength, compassion, and peace. louise

Memories

There are no words that can make this easier... I can't even begin to understand the pain you are going thru. All I can say is that I was bessed to work with Tim and enjoyed his personality. He was always willing to help out and did it with a smile. It is so sad that his time here on earth was cut so short. I will be thinking about all the great memories and sending thoughts prayers your way.

Memories

Our family was priveleged to know Tim. In highschool he was a friend of our daughter, Nina. He would come over to our house and we would talk about literature, history, religion, etc. Tim was interested in everything and loved to discuss whatever he was reading or thinking about. He would ask for ideas on what to read and then read it, and come back to discuss! (very unusual for someone his age) He was always respectful and kind. Tim was a very special person, and special to us. Our prayers are with all of your family.
